Kurungaituku's Side:
The cave glistens, and the sun streams through the canopy surrounding it. A cacophony of noises: chitters, trills, and chirps. You look to the left, and so does the figure in front of you; small furred friends are scuffling forward. The flap of wings and the rustling of feathers draws your attention to above the figure's head. It looks up too. There sit birds of all shapes and sizes, some you can't see on the cave's floor beyond the figure.
Against the darkness of the cave walls, you see a brilliant red. Upon closer inspection, you notice it is feathers bunched together. It is a Korowai/cloak. The light dims for a second as the figure hunches slightly. Backing away returns the vibrancy of the color. That is when you notice the tiniest creatures scaling walls and moving around the floors.
-
A tiny for a while creature flutters by quickly, darting off to the forest to find its friend.
-
Suddenly all color is drained and stained with red. Red around the corners and red on the floor. The ceiling. The walls. There is no sound, and there won't be for a while. You see the figure folded over the pools; the creature's soft sobs end as quickly as they start. The figure abruptly turns and stomps to a clearing. The figure crouches low, and with a loud crunch, it launches itself into the air. You can see its flight; shadows upon the ground. But fast do you lose this shadow.

Hatupatu's POV:
You can hear the loud flapping of giant wings the crunch of branches as she lands upon them. The closer she gets, the faster you become. You have to escape. As you run, you envision your death at her hands; it wasn't that you wanted to, but as she neared, its potential came closer to reality. The Korowai was heavy on your back, and it was slowing you down. You loosen the tie, throwing it to the tree to distract her and add to your lead.
-
It cost most of the lead hiding the kete, but you could come back to it later. Your safety was at stake. Slipping around bushes and through trees, you ran as fast as you could. You were close enough to know where you needed to go but far enough away that it wasn't immediately within reach. And in your rush, you saw a place to hide—a rock.
-
Running for the rock, you command it open. A hole appears, large enough to fit you and as you enter the rock, you command it to close over you. As she comes closer, you watch in fear and calm. In the seconds it takes the rock to close, you see the damage you have done. The rock closes as you hear her claws tearing at the rock, and her screeches rip through the air though it is silenced. You know you are protected.
